Melon Paleta

One time I rode my bike to the west coast but I can't imagine riding the Banana Bike that far; it is too heavy!  So since I can only bring fresh frozen treats to my neighborhood I thought it would be nice to share with everyone else.

This is one of my favorite treats.  One 4oz. bar has half of your vitamin A and vitamin C!  They taste so delicious on a hot day and are super hydrating.  Once a man in Whetstone Park bought one and took a bite and then said give me three more!

1 large sized ripe cantaloupe (Organic if possible) with seeds removed and chopped up to fit in a blender
1  Organic ripe banana
2 pinches of sea salt

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.  Pour mixture in molds and freeze a minimum of 6 hours until set.  Enjoy with friends and family on hot Summer days!

This tastes so fresh and reminds me of summer as a kid without any funny ingredients you can't pronounce.  Instead of High fructose corn syrup and food colorings it is loaded with vitamins, potassium and minerals.  Instead of a sugar crash it hydrates you and gives your body sustainable energy! Hooray for nutrition!

Electronic Banana Bike Social Networking Blog HOORAY!

You might be thinking what the Hell is The Banana Bike?  It is hard to say in a catch phrase but essentially it is exactly what I want to do at this point in my life.  I want to create whole food, organic, fair trade, raw, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, soy free God's gift to man frozen treats.  I want to ride a 300lb tricycle around my neighborhood loaded with said treats to make my neighbors day by nourishing them.

What an organic raw vegan tricycle?  Where are you in Portland or New York?  No I am in Clintonville, OH.  Though I do operate Clintonville Leather through the global market The Banana Bike is strictly local 43202.

The Banana Bike is about community 2.0.  Reconnecting community through whole food.  Hang out on your porch with neighbors.  Turn off your cell phone and relax.  Go to the new playground at Clinton Como and play on the swings or play tennis.  Pick mulberries on the bike path.  Kayak the Olentangy, walk through the rose garden.  This is our neighborhood and it is beautiful.  Electronic devices just bog you down. You need a treat and I'll be there for you with wholesome food and a vengeance against corporate poison.

As a 10 year pedicab veteran nutrition is a huge part of my life.  I have spent years deficient in numerous minerals and vitamins.  I have learned that successful nutrition is possible through whole foods and that processed pasteurized foods are criminal.

Last week I ran into a married couple that had been walking around the neighborhood looking for me and that made my day.  If the promise of wholesome treats encourages husband and wife to walk around their neighborhood then my work is fruitful.  Pop up x 3, yo.  Another couple bought 5 treats to put in the freezer and later that night I ran into them riding bikes.  That is more rewarding than any paycheck I can think of.
